Nick Herrick, LMFT

Nick Herrick is a clinician operating out of Media, PA who has enjoyed helping clients find and walk their path toward healing since 2008 when he first started his journey as a professional helper. While his training and early work revolved around empowering couples and families to better navigate the relational struggles they face, he also has extensive experience treating anxiety and depression in individuals and is very willing to assist clients seeking a one on one focus.

Clients can expect a therapist who has tremendous faith in the process of channeling one’s own frustrated desires for growth and change into the work of taking practical steps toward a healthier and happier life. Bringing warmth and validation to help people access greater compassion for themselves and their loved ones, Nick believes in the transformational power of being seen, heard, and understood. He is deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk with his clients through the deeper and more difficult spaces of healing, and is delighted when it inevitably opens up to the thriving expansion that lies on the other side of that stage of the therapeutic process.

Nick is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University’s Couple and Family Therapy program, and has been working actively in the field for nearly 20 years.  He has a wealth of experience helping couples, and completed advanced trainings in Emotion Focused Therapy as his “home model” for such cases.  He’s also a Level 2 AEDP therapist, which greatly assists him in reliably delivering transformational change in the work with his individual clients.
